Alphabet Soup Minuscule

J.C. Scheff

There are so many things that make me–who I am. Over time, these “things” change and continue to shape who I am as a person, and a mother. Yet, there are certain elements that have been a constant in this life of mine. These are, my children, my family, my friends, my love of life, focusing on the many positives in this world and laughter.

I’m a very detail orientated person , very sensory. I appreciate the inventory around me, and use it quite often in my work. I should warn you though–everything on here is like buying a used car. It’s in “as is” condition. Not revised. Revising is a brain bleeding task, almost similar to having a tooth pulled. I’ve recently discovered Micro-Poetry and I am IN LOVE with it.

I know what you mean. Seems like I can’t write either until it’s late in the night/early morning… I never know why exactly. 🙂 Thanks for following me.

  6. Pleased to meet you! While I am no longer a worrier, I am everything else you describe yourself as…often, when I have a project coming up my husband will find me lying in bed – where I go to trick my mind into thinking I want to sleep. This is because I have the same experience with thoughts (words) as you – they attack me when I am trying to sleep! So happy to have found your blog! Hello, my mental doppelganger 🙂

  7. perhaps when you are a bit sleepy, your defenses relax and your muse emerges.

Mysterious as you are, I have nominated you for an award — see my awards page. You can either do many things, or smile mysteriously, I accept either as full acknowledgement. good luck on your exams. bw

  8. Hi there,

Thank you for following my blog Echos’s Onomatopoeia, on here, some time back… I thought that I had immediately followed you back because I usually do & because I came here and read some of your stuff and liked it so, I thought I had followed… however, I just realized that I have been doing something wrong. I am following you now though!

I am so sorry for this & for not immediately saying “Thank You.” I always feel like a follow back means more but I suppose that is different for everyone, who knows…

    Keep up the good work!

    Miranda Paige.

  9. You are pretty dope. I enjoyed reading your page. From one word lover to another…respect. 🙂

Thanks for the like. I know what you mean about being creative when half asleep, some of my best thoughts occur just before sandman enters the room.

  11. I totally agree on rhyme. I find it limiting. I like writing what I want to say, not what words want me to say.

  12. Hi Jolly just visiting, i just noticed you don’t have the badge in your sidebar 😦

  13. At night, my creative juices seem to flow, during those times when I lay comfortable in bed-I feel the urge to stay up and write. == ah, I’m, glad I’m not the only one with this habit.

Nice meeting you here, and looking forward to reading more of your posts! 🙂
