Alphabet Soup Minuscule

J.C. Scheff

Caesarea

Seize her like Justinian seized Caesarea.

Plant yourself in her far, as if you were an eggplant,

And she is the wet soil,

That you pollinate around.

Take in the scent of her smell, and

The way she frowns when she’s thinking about him.

When you want it to be you.

Except it isn’t yet.
