At Your Toes

images-3.jpeg

Like the queen conch,

My shell has become thicker with age.

I’ve become less impressed,

Bored perhaps with copulating?

I am not native to you, but only of myself.

These pearls I lay, like memories at your toes.

Press your ear to me,

So that I might lie to you.
